A series of alkoxy and aryloxydimesitylboranes (Mes2BOR) has been synthesised, characterised and their 1H, 11B and 13C NMR data recorded The corresponding data for fluorodimesitylborane is reported. As has been found for other dimesitylboryl systems, the mesityl 13C chemical shifts remain virtually unchanged with change in R.
