A series of purely organic small molecules 1–4 based on bis(arylene ethynylene)s with various electron‐rich aromatic bridges, such as benzene, cyclopentadithiophene (CDT), and diphenyl(p‐tolyl)amine, were synthesized by a Sonogashira coupling reaction.
