  5-Hydroxypentylammonium acetate as a task-specific ionic liquid promotes efficient tandem Knoevenagel-phospha-Michael reaction of phosphite esters with aryl/heteroaryl/alkyl/salicylaldehydes and malonitrile/ethyl cyanoacetate at room temperature in short reaction times.
