    A resin composition comprises a product produced by the reaction of (a) a prepolymer prepared by reacting a diisocyanate with a hydroxy fatty acid ester or a mixture of a hydroxy fatty acid ester and a polyether polyol, with (b) at least one member selected from aromatic polyamines, polyether polyamines and polyether polyimines or a mixture of such a member as above and a polyether polyol.     Polyoxyalkylene polyamine or aromatic diamines or xylylenediamines are modified by subjecting to the Michael reaction with an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having an electron-withdrawing group to convert the primarary amino groups at least in part to a secondary amino group of the formula:         -NH-CH₂-CH(R)-Y wherein R is a hydrogen atom or methyl, and Y is an electron-withdrawing group. The modified amines find use in the manufacture of plastics such as polyurea elastomers or polyurea RIM.

    An elastomer is molded by a reaction injection molding of polyurethane resins, polyurea resins, polyurethane/urea resins and polyurea/amide resins in the presence of an internal release agent which is a polyester condensate of a saturated or unsaturated fatty acid having a hydroxy group produced by transesterification or a molecular end-aminated or iminated polyester condensate. The elastomer has a good mold releasing property and a good coating property.

    An epoxy resin composition for a fiber-reinforced composite material, containing at least components [A], [B], [C], [D], and [E], wherein the epoxy resin composition when cured has a glass transition temperature greater than 220° C. and a storage modulus, as defined by a specific method, less than 35 MPa, as determined from an elastic shear modulus measured at a temperature of at least 35° C. higher than the glass transition temperature, wherein the components [A], [B], [C], [D], and [E] are: [A] at least one naphthalene-based epoxy resin having an EEW between 190 and 260 g/mol; [B] at least one epoxy resin having a functionality of three or more; [C] at least one amine curing agent; [D] at least one latent acid catalyst; and [E] at least one cycloaliphatic epoxy resin. This epoxy resin composition is useful in the molding of fiber-reinforced composite materials. More particularly, it is possible to offer an epoxy resin composition for a fiber-reinforced composite material where the cured material obtained by heating has high levels of heat resistance and microcrack resistance.
