  本发明提供一种立达霉中代谢产物6的合成方法，包括以下步骤：1）取立达霉（Ⅰ）为原料，溶于有机溶剂中，降温后加入催化剂，再升温后反应，得到化合物（Ⅱ）；2）将化合物（Ⅱ）再溶于有机溶剂中，降温后加入碱液，再升温后反应，得到代谢产物6（Ⅲ）。本发明还进一步提供了上述方法制备的代谢产物6及其用途。本发明提供的立达霉中代谢产物6的合成方法，能够获得纯度较高、收率较好的N–(2,6-二甲苯基)-N-(羟乙酰基)丙氨酸，具有比较可观的应用及市场前景。
