  Some new N-substituted acetyl derivatives of 2-amino-5-alkyl-1,3,4-thiadiazoles have been prepared and investigated for antihistaminic and spasmolytic activity on guinea pig ileum. A few of the compounds showed encouraging effects. In addition, some of the compounds also showed anti-inflammatory activity.
