  从芳胺和三光气以三乙胺作为中间体异氰酸酯的还原剂合成了三十种对称的二芳基脲衍生物，收率中等至极好。重要的是，部分产物可以在没有柱色谱的情况下以几乎定量的收率收集。在温和的反应条件下，该过程可以容忍广泛的官能团。化合物的结构通过NMR、MS和X-射线晶体学分析确定。
