    The present invention provides a rubber composition for a tire tread which comprises 100 parts by weight of a rubber component comprising 50 parts by weight or more of SBR and the remaining amount of a synthetic rubber and/or natural rubber, 25 parts by weight or more of a softener, and 0.5 to 5.0 parts by weight of a vulcanization accelerator, such as bis(4-methylbenzothiazolyl-2)-disulfide, bis(5-methylbenzothiazolyl-2)-disulfide, mercapto-4-methylbenzothiazole, and mercapto-5-methylbenzothiazole, and a pneumatic tire produced by using this rubber composition. A tire having excellent controllability and ride quality throughout tire life can be provided.

    The present invention is a rubber composition comprising 0.2 to 10 parts by weight of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole compound containing an alkoxy groups represented by the following general formulae (I), (II) and (III) based on 100 parts by weight of at least one rubber raw material selected from the group consisting of natural rubber and diene-based synthetic rubbers: General formula (I) General formula (II) General formula (III) wherein R1 represents an alkyl group, alkenyl group or cycloalkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; R2 represents a hydrogen atom or an amino group represented by -N(R3)R4; R3 and R4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group or cyclohexyl group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms (wherein, R3 and R4 do not simultaneously represent a hydrogen atom); R5 and R6 each independently represent an alkyl group, alkenyl group or cycloalkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; X represent a Zn atom, Cu atom or an amino group represented by >N-R9; R9 represents an alkyl group or cyclohexyl group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms; and R7 and R8 have the same meaning as R5. By this rubber composition, high breaking resistance after heat aging is provided.

    The present invention relates to a tire characterized by using as a member, a rubber composition comprising (a) a rubber component comprising at least one selected from a natural rubber and a diene base synthetic rubber, (b) silica having a nitrogen-absorbing specific surface area (N2SA) of 180 to 270 m2/g and 0.1 to 10.0 mass parts of (c) a partial ester compound of maleic anhydride and a (poly)oxypropylene derivative per 100 mass parts of the rubber component described above. Further, the present invention relates to a tire characterized by using as a tread rubber, a rubber composition comprising (A) a rubber component comprising a conjugate diene base rubber, (B) a filler comprising 10 mass % or more of a white filler based on the whole fillers and (C) a partial ester compound of maleic anhydride and a (poly)oxypropylene derivative. According to the present invention, capable of being obtained is a tire in which an abrasion resistance and a low heat build-up property are enhanced while improving a processability thereof without causing a reduction in the physical properties of a rubber composition and a problem on a working environment or a tire which is excellent in both of a driving stability and a wet gripping property.

    The present invention is directed a pneumatic agricultural or industrial tire (20) comprising a casing (21) and a rubber tread (32A, 32B, 34) disposed radially outwardly of the casing (21), the tread having an inner tread (34) and a plurality of tread lugs (50) projecting radially from the inner tread (34), said casing (21) having at least one component (22, 26, 28), said component comprising textile cord and a rubber composition in contact with the textile cord, the rubber composition comprising    100 parts by weight of at least one diene based elastomer, including from 75 to 15 parts by weight of polybutadiene and 25 to 85 parts by weight of at least one additional diene based elastomer selected from the group consisting of styrene-butadiene rubber, synthetic polyisoprene and natural polyisoprene;    0.1 to 8 parts by weight of at least one accelerator selected from benzothiazoles and dithiophosphates and exclusive of sulfenamides;    1 to 15 parts by weight of at least one resin selected from phenolformaldehyde resins, aliphatic cyclic hydrocarbon resins, and aromatic hydrocarbon resin;    10 to 150 parts by weight of a filler selected from the group consisting of carbon black, silica, and starch/plasticizer composite filler; and    0.3 to 3 parts by weight of sulfur;    wherein each lug has a width in a range of from 2 cm to 10 cm and length in a range of from 2 cm to 60 cm, and a height in a range of from 2 cm to 10 cm, and wherein the tread has a net-to-gross ratio in a range of from 15 to 40 percent as measured around the entire 360° circumference of a normally inflated and normally loaded tire contacting a flat hard surface.

    The present invention aims to provide a rubber composition that improves heat resistance and particularly inhibits the changes in properties such as hardness of the vulcanized rubber composition (rubber hardening degradation) due to long-term use without an increased amount of an age resistor, thereby extending the life-span without deterioration of performance on ice, and reduces vulcanization time while maintaining good scorch resistance, and increases cross-linking efficiency; and a studless tire having a cap tread produced from the composition. The rubber composition for a cap tread of the invention comprises: a rubber component containing an isoprene-based rubber; silica; a compound represented by formula (I) and/or (II); and a thiuram vulcanization accelerator, wherein R1 and R2 may be the same or different, and each represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, or an aralkyl group, provided that the case where R1 and R2 are simultaneously hydrogen atoms is excluded.
