Emerging fungal phytodiseases are increasingly becoming a food security threat. Twenty-six new 3-acylthiotetronic acid derivatives were designed, synthesized, characterized, and evaluated for activities against Valsa mali, Curvularia lunata, Fusarium graminearum, and Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici.
