The invention provides methods for treating Parkinson's disease by administering to patients therapeutically effective amounts of AMPA receptor antagonists in combination with one or more other active ingredients useful for treating Parkinson's disease. The invention provides methods for treating movement disorders by administering to patients therapeutically effective amounts of AMPA receptor antagonists in optionally combination with one or more other active ingredients that are useful for treating movement disorders. The invention also provides pharmaceutical combinations, kits, and pharmaceutical compositions comprising therapeutically effective amounts of AMPA receptor antagonists, and optionally, one or more other active ingredients that are useful for treating Parkinson's disease and/or movement disorders.
