Also the FT-IR, 1 H NMR and 13 C NMR spectra of the compounds were calculated at the B3LYP/6-31 + G(d) level of theory. The Schiff base L 1 with unit cell parameters: a = 19.8380(9), b = 4.7221(2), c = 12.9703(6) A, V = 1215.02(9) A 3 , Z = 4 crystallizes in the orthorhombic crystal system with space group Pna 2 1 . The crystal structure was solved by charge flipping using single crystal X-ray diffraction
