To find novel herbicidal compounds with high activity and broad spectrum, a series of phenylpyridine moiety-containing α-trifluoroanisole derivatives were designed, synthesized, and identified via nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS).
