The reaction between dione monoximes and platinum(iv) nitrile complexes leads, instead of the conventional substitution, to metal-mediated coupling, giving iminoacylated species which, on being liberated, undergo disintegration to the nitrile and the oxime.
developed to construct the highly fused indano[1,2-b]azirine frameworks in good yields with a broad range of substrates under mild reaction conditions. More intriguingly, a [4+1+1] sequential annulation cascade is demonstrated for the first time in this reaction and opened a new reaction mode for α-keto oximes. These fused indano[1,2-b]azirinederivatives could also be further transformed into intriguing
Visible-Light-Promoted Intermolecular β-Acyl Difunctionalization of Alkenes via Oxidative Radical-Polar Crossover
alkenes with acyloxime esters and various nucleophiles was developed to achieve molecular complexity from readily available raw materials via oxidative radical-polar crossover. A variety of nucleophiles, including NH-sulfoximines, indoles, indazole, and trimethoxybenzene, were all effectively applicable to the sustainable reaction system. The novel synthetic strategy features mild reaction conditions

A fast and general synthesis of quinoxalines, performed in two stages or as a one-pot reaction, starting from ketones via their alpha-hydroxylimino ketone derivatives, and condensation of the latter with 1,2-diaminobenzene under microwave irradiation, is described. Metal- and photocatalyst-free approach to visible-light-induced acylation of quinoxalinones
A transition-metal- and photocatalyst-free photochemical reaction was successfully developed for the direct acylation of quinoxalin-2(1H)-ones, which was enabled by the formation of electron donor-acceptor (EDA) complexes. The use of DBU...
