An electroluminescent device which includes an anode, a cathode, and a polymer luminescent material disposed between the anode and cathode, the polymer luminescent material having arylamine moiety has the molecular formula:
wherein:
R1 and R2 are independently hydrogen, alkyl group of from 1 to 24 carbon atoms, or aryl or substituted aryl of from 6 to 40 carbon atoms, or heteroaryl or substituted heteroaryl of from 4 to 40 carbons, or a cyano group;
Ar1, Ar2, Ar3, Ar4, and Ar are each individually aryl or substituted aryl of from 6 to 40 carbon atoms; or a heteroaryl or substituted heteroaryl of from 4 to 40 carbons, or combinations thereof.
