The synthesis and full characterization of a tetraazastibole is presented for the first time. The conversion of [N3Sb(μ‐NMes*)2SbN3] (Mes*=2,4,6‐Me3C6H2) into tetraazastibole, Mes*N4Sb, is an unusual isomerization triggered by the action of the Lewis acid B(C6F5)3, which is also needed for adduct formation: the N4Sb ring is kinetically protected between the large Mes* and B(C6F5)3 units.
