reactions of 2,6-pyridinedicarboxaldehyde (DIAL) with several metal ions have been investigated. The complexes Cu(DIAL)Cl2, Ni(DIAL) (acac)2·H2O, Pd(DIAL)2Cl2 and UO2(DIAL (CH3COO)2·2 H2O have been obtained in non-alcoholic reaction media.
