Asymmetricreductive amination of poorly nucleophilic sulfonamides was realized in the presence of nickel catalysts and titanium alkoxide. A wide range of ketones, including enolizable ketones and some biaryl ones, were converted into sulfonamides in excellent enantiomeric excess.
