Regioselective Synthesis of Pyrazoles and Pyrazolo[1,5-a]Pyrimidines: Structural Characterization by HMBC NMR

In this study a series of novel pyrazoles and pyrazolo [1,5-alpha]pyrimidines with a sulfone moiety incorporated the coumarin ring were efficiently synthesized. These pyrazoles and pyrazolo[1,5-alpha]pyrimidines were synthesized by treating enaminone derivative of beta-ketosulfone (3-(2-tosylacety1)-2H-coumarin) with substituted hydrazines and 5-aminopyrazole derivatives, respectively under microwave irradiation. The structures of the products thus obtained were characterized by 2D NMR (HMBC).
