Hydrothermal Syntheses and Crystal Structures of Two New Nickel(II) Coordination Polymers Based on the Semrigid Carboxylate and Imidazole-Containing Ligands

Two new metal coordination polymers, [Ni(bda)(L1)(H2O)2] ·2H2O}n (1) and [Ni2(bda)2(bib)2]·H2O}n (2) [H2bda = benzophenone -2,4 -dicarboxylic acid, L1 = 1,4-bis (imidazol-1-yl)benzene and L2 = 1,4-bis(1-imidazol-yl)-2,5-dimethyl benzene] have been successfully synthesized and structure characterized by IR, elemental analysis and X-ray diffraction.
