bis[aryl(diethoxyphosphoryl)methyl]amines has been developed. The treatment of aromatic aldehydes with ammonia followed by reaction with diethyl phosphite in the presence of acetyl chloride as catalyst gives bis[aryl(diethoxyphosphoryl)methyl]amines.
