  α-(Substituted methyl)vinylphosphonates are obtained by a DABCO-catalyzed substitution reaction of diethyl α-(tert-butoxycarbonyloxymethyl)vinylphosphonate­ and (N-protected) amino- or soft pronucleophiles.
