Synthesis, spectral characterization, properties and structures of copper(I) complexes containing novel bidentate iminopyridine ligands
摘要:
Four new ligands, (4-methyl-phenyl)-pyridin-2-ylmethylene-amine (A), (2,3-dimethyl-phenyl)-pyridin-2-ylmethylene-amine (B), (2,4-dimethyl-phenyl)-pyridin-2-ylmethylene-amine (C) and (2,5-dimethyl-phenyl)-pyridin-2-ylmethylene-amine (D), and their corresponding copper(I) complexes, [Cu(A)(2)]ClO4 (1a), [Cu(B)(2)]ClO4 (1b), [Cu(C)(2)]ClO4 (1c), [Cu(D)(2)]ClO4 (1d), [Cu(A)(PPh3)(2)]ClO4 (2a), [Cu(B)(PPh3)(2)]ClO4 (2b), [Cu(C)(PPh3)(2)]ClO4 (2c) and [Cu(D)(PPh3)(2)]ClO4 (2d), have been synthesized and characterized by CHN analyses, H-1 and C-13 NMR, IR and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The crystal structures of [Cu(B)(2)]ClO4 (1b), [Cu(C)(2)]ClO4 (1c) and [Cu(A)(PPh3)(2)]ClO4 center dot 1/2CH(3)CN (2a) were determined from single crystal X-ray diffraction. The coordination polyhedron about the copper(I) center in the three complexes is best described as a distorted tetrahedron. A quasireversible redox behavior is observed for the complexes. determined and showed that the ruthenium(II) centre has a pseudo-octahedral geometry and the molecule adopted a three legged piano stool geometry in which the arene ring occupies the apex and the nitrogen atoms of the N,N′-bidentate ligand and the chloride atom the base of the stool. The Ru(II) complex salts were active for the catalytic transferhydrogenation of ketones into alcohols in the presence of NaOH
在 NaOH 存在下,使用 2-丙醇作为氢源,在 82 °C 下,Ru(II) 络合盐对酮类催化转移氢化成醇具有活性。该配合物适用于各种脂肪族、环状和芳香族酮,具有良好的转化率。

L5 = (4-bromo-phenyl)-pyridin-2-yl methylene (complex5) have been synthesized by reacting the ruthenium arene precursors [(η6-arene)Ru(μ-X)X]2 with N,N-bidentate ligands in a 1:2 ratio. Full characterization of the complexes was accomplished by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods and X-ray structures of all the complexes 1–5. The crystalstructures reveal that the ruthenium centers in 1–5 are coordinated to
