We developed a method that involved an asymmetricconjugateaddition of secondary phosphines to α,β-unsaturated enones bearing β-2-pyridyl substituents catalyzed by a PCP pincer–Pd complex. The technique was established for the preparation of chiral P,N-compounds in excellent enantioselectivity (up to 99% ee) under mild conditions.

Chiral non‐heme aminopyridine manganese complexes catalyze the enantioselective epoxidation of olefins with peracetic acid or hydrogenperoxide with moderate to high yields and ee valuess up to 89% (peracetic acid, AcOOH) and 84% (hydrogenperoxide, H2O2), performing as many as 1000 turnovers.

Rhodium-Catalyzed Asymmetric Conjugate Addition of Organoboronic Acids to Carbonyl-Activated Alkenyl Azaarenes
The enantioselective synthesis of chiral azaarenes by rhodium‐catalyzed asymmetric conjugate addition of organoboronic acids to carbonyl‐activated alkenyl azaarenes was reported. Diverse chiral azaarenes were produced in up to 99% yield and with up to 99% ee (>60 examples). Catalytic asymmetric syntheses of dexchlorpheniramine and dexbrompheniramine were realized by using the developed method.
