The present invention relates to imidazole, oxazole and thiazole derivatives of tumor-targeted drug combretastatin A4, and phosphate esters, sulfonate esters or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, glycoside derivatives, solvates thereof, wherein the A-ring comprises a 3,5-dimethoxyphenyl group having a substituent at the 4-position. The pharmacological activity assays have demonstrated that the compounds of the present invention have good in vitro anti-tumor activity and excellent tubulin inhibitory effect.

A method for preparing biodegradable microspheres having a three-dimensional network in which biologically active macromolecular agents are physically entrapped therein. The microsphere is able to release the macromolecular agent at a controlled rate. The method involves emulsifying a vinyl derivative of a biodegradable hydrophilic polymer, a water-soluble monovinyl monomer and a biologically active macromolecule in water, and copolymerizing the biodegradable hydrophilic polymer and the water-soluble monovinyl monomer such that the biologically active macromolecule is entrapped therein.
A two-part dental restoration composition composed of a powder and a liquid which are to be combined and evenly mixed prior to usage. The powder is to be composed of a fluoride-containing and releasing filler having an average particulate size under one micron, an acid accelerator and a tertiary amine. The liquid is composed of hydrophilic, high viscosity phosphate which is diluted with a low viscosity monomer hydrophobic pyrophosphate diluent. This phosphate composition is combined with a dimethacrylate binder and a photoinitiator.
A practically non-aqueous dental cement composition is disclosed and the dental cement composition comprises a polymer or co-polymer having an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid as an essential component of a main monomer; and an inorganic powder capable of forming a metal chelate in the presence of water characterized in that the polymer or co-polymer exists as a solution in a polymerizable monomer that can dissolve the polymer or co-polymer.
