Methodologies for the totalcontrol on the synthesis of E, Z or 1,1-dissubstituted vinylictellurides are described. Tellurobutadienes bearing the butyltellurium moiety at carbon 2 or at carbon 1 with E or Z configuration at the tellurium containing double bond were also obtained. Addition of diisobutylaluminum butyltellurolate to terminal alkynes resulted in the formation of 1-(butylteluro)-1-(organyl)
Synthesis of Fully Functionalized 5-Selanyl-1,2,3-triazoles: Copper-Catalysed Three-Component Reaction of Ethynylstibanes, Organic Azides, and Diaryl Diselenides
A Cu‐catalysed three‐component reaction of ethynylstibanes, organic azides, and diaryl diselenides under aerobic conditions leads to the formation of fullysubstituted 5‐selanyl‐1,2,3‐triazoles in moderate to excellent yields. Ethynylstibanes, containing an antimony atom, gave better results than various alkynes containing other typical elements, such as silicon, tin, and tellurium.

Diorganomanganese compounds react with aryl, vinyl, and alkynyl tellurides in a tellurium/manganese exchange reaction. The new mixed organomanganese reagents react selectively with electrophiles.

An ultrasound-assisted synthesis of symmetrical 1,3-diyne compounds with electron-withdrawing or -donating substituents is described and illustrated by the palladium-catalyzed homocouplingreaction of n-butyl alkynyltellurides. This procedure offers easy access to 1,3-diynes in very short reaction times, and the products are achieved in good to excellent yields.
