We have established that a cationic rhodium(I)/(R,R)-QuinoxP* complex catalyzes the highlyenantioselective direct intermolecular hydroacylation of alpha-substituted acrylamides with unfunctionalized aliphatic aldehydes to yield the corresponding gamma-ketoamides in high yields with excellent ee values.
Asymmetric Synthesis of Axially Chiral Biaryl Diphosphine Ligands by Rhodium-Catalyzed Enantioselective Intramolecular Double [2 + 2 + 2] Cycloaddition
The concise synthesis of axially chiral biaryl diphosphine ligands by the rhodium-catalyzed intramolecular [2 + 2 + 2] cycloaddition of hexayne diphosphine oxides has been achieved. These newchiral diphosphine ligands could be employed as a ligand for the rhodium-catalyzed asymmetric catalyses.

We report the unprecedented chromium-catalyzed asymmetric cyclopropanation of readily available gem-dihaloalkanes and terminal olefins. Distinct from previous approaches, gem-dihaloalkanes serve as suitable precursors for non-stabilized carbenes or carbenoids, furnishing various functionalized chiral cyclopropanes. Mechanistic studies provide insights into the catalytic process, featuring radical-polar

The carbonylative coupling of aniline derivatives (la-h) with terminal aryl acetylenes (2a, b) catalyzed by Pd(OAc)(2) and 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb) under syngas conditions affords acrylamide derivatives 3 or 3' in excellent yields and selectivities.
