Abstract Complexes of rareearth bromides with glycine, REBr 3 ·3Gly·3H 2 O (RE is Ce, Pr, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy and Y; Gly is glycine) have been synthesized and characterized by means of chemical analysis, elemental analysis, molar conductivity, thermogravimetry, IR spectra and X-ray diffractometry.
