CyPLOS (cyclic phosphate-linked oligosaccharides), that is, novel cyclic oligosaccharide surrogates, consisting of two, three, and four phenyl-β-d-glucopyranoside units, 4,6-linked through stable phosphodiester bonds, were prepared by a straightforward and efficient solid-phase protocol.
