  Interaction of NaCo(dmg)2py with (R)2CC(OSO2CF3)CCH in methanol provides a simple route to novel, stable cumulenyl complexes (R)2CCCCHCo(dmg)2py, where R = CH3 or C6H5. In the case of R = H the stable ene-yne complex H2CC(CCH)Co(dmg)2py was isolated. The formation and properties of these complexes are discussed.
