Herein, the preparation of a heterogeneous catalyst consisting of 1–2 nm sized Pd nanoparticles supported on amino‐functionalized mesoporous hollow silica nanospheres and its use for the semihydrogenation of mono‐ and disubstituted alkynes is reported.
