The synthesis of the first diazaphenoxathiins, 1,9-diazaphenoxathiin and 1,7-diazaphenoxathiin, are described. As a continuation of recent study on the synthesis of a bis[1,4]oxathiinodipyridine ring system, we would now like to report the preparation of 7-chlorobenzo[1″,2″:5,6:3″,4″:5′,6′]-bis[1,4]oxathiino[3,2-b: 3′,2′-b]dipyridine.
