  已经开发了一种方便的合成阿司匹林烷基酯的方法（ASA-OR）。ASA-OR的合成分两个步骤进行：（1）在二环己基碳二亚胺存在下，水杨酸与醇直接酯化，得到烷基水杨酸酯（SAL-OR）；（2）用乙酰氯将SAL-OR乙酰化以产生ASA-OR。进行分子力学模拟以计算几种ASA-OR的动力学半径，表明戊基和己基乙酰水杨酸酯具有跨细胞膜的最佳性能。体外生物学测试证明其抗炎活性可与阿司匹林相抗衡。我们的研究结果表明，ASA-OR可用作局部应用的抗炎药。
