    Methods of using a toner as a printable adhesive are provided. In embodiments, a method of adhering substrates is provided which comprises disposing a cold pressure fix toner comprising a phase change material on a first substrate via xerography to form an unfused layer of the cold pressure fix toner on the first substrate; placing a second substrate on the unfused layer of the cold pressure fix toner; and subjecting the cold pressure fix toner to a pressure to form a bonded article comprising the first substrate, an adhesive layer formed from the cold pressure fix toner, and the second substrate. Methods of applying an adhesive to a substrate and bonded articles are also provided.

    A polyester copolymer, having a number average molecular weight of equal to or more than 4000 grams/mole and having a glass transition temperature of less than 160° C., containing: (a) in the range from equal to or more than 45 mole % to equal to or less than 50 mole %, based on the total amount of moles of monomer units within the polyester copolymer, of one or more bicyclic diol monomer units, wherein such one or more bicyclic diol monomer units is/are derived from one or more bicyclic diols chosen from the group consisting of isosorbide, isoidide, isomannide, 2,3:4,5-di-O-methylene-galactitol and 2,4:3,5-di-O-methylene-D-mannitol; (b) in the range from equal to or more than 25 mole % to equal to or less than 49.9 mole %, based on the total amount of moles of monomer units within the polyester copolymer, of an oxalate monomer unit; (c) in the range from equal to or more than 0.1 mole % to equal to or less than 25 mole %, based on the total amount of moles of monomer units within the polyester copolymer, of one or more linear C3-C12 dicarboxylate monomer units; and (d) optionally equal to or more than 0 mole % to equal to or less than 5 mole %, based on the total amount of moles of monomer units within the polyester copolymer, of one or more additional monomer units. A process for producing such a polyester copolymer, a composition containing such polyester copolymer, a method for manufacturing an article comprising the use of one or more of such polyester copolymers and an article obtained or obtainable by such a method.
