  (EN) There is disclosed a detergent composition containing, as an essential ingredient, at least one member selected from three types of $g(a)-sulfo-fatty acid derivatives as represented by formulas (1), (2) and (3): where R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each an alkyl group or an alkenyl group, each having from 6 to 24 carbon atoms; R5 is an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; M1, M2, M3 and M4 are each a hydrogen atom or a cation capable of forming a salt; AO is an oxyalkylene group or a polyvalent alcohol residue; and p^_, m^_ and n^_ are each a positive number. The detergent compositions are very low in irritability to the body and have a low critical micelle concentration and a low Krafft point. Further, they are highly soluble in water and thy can be used in the form of powder or liquid.(FR) L'invention concerne une composition détergente contenant, comme ingrédient de base, au moins un élément choisi parmi trois types de dérivés d'acides gras $g(a)-sulfo, répondant aux formules générales (1), (2) et (3). Dans lesdites formules, R1, R2, R3 et R4 représentent chacun un groupe alkyle ou un groupe alcényle ayant chacun 6 à 24 atomes de carbone; R5 représente un groupe alkyle ayant 1 à 4 atomes de carbone; M1, M2, M3 et M4 représentent chacun un atome d'hydrogène ou un cation pouvant former un sel; AO représente un groupe oxyalkylène ou un reste alcool polyvalent; et p^_, m^_ et n^_ sont chacun un nombre positif. Les compositions détergentes sont très peu agressives pour le corps, présentent une très faible concentration de micelles critiques et un point de Krafft bas.
