  (EN) The present invention concerns a method of assaying the activity of asparagine-$g(b)-amido hydrolase enzymes in biological samples. In the method, the sample contacted with a compound which contains an easily detectable moiety attached to the $g(b)-amino group of L-asparagine or $g(b)-carboxyl group of L-aspartic acid, the easily detectable moiety being released by the enzyme present in the biological sample, and the released compound is determined. The invention further concerns an assay kit for determination of the activity of asparagine-$g(b)-amidohydrolase enzymes in biological samples.(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de détermination de l'activité d'enzymes d'hydrolases d'asparagine-$g(b)-amido dans des spécimens biologiques. Dans le procédé, le spécimen est mis en contact avec un composé contenant une fraction facilement détectable et fixée au groupe $g(b)-amino de L-asparagine ou au groupe $g(b)-carboxyl d'acide L-aspartique, ladite fraction facilement détectable étant libérée par l'enzyme présente dans le spécimen biologique, ce qui permet de déterminer le composé libéré. L'invention concerne, de plus, un kit servant à déterminer l'activité d'enzymes d'hydrolases d'asparagine-$g(b)-amido dans des spécimens biologiques.
