  Arylthioalkylphenylcarboxylic acid are provided which have the structure wherein Ar represents an aryl group including phenyl or naphthyl which may or may not include one or more substituents, A is or R is hydrogen, alkali metal or lower alkyl, m is 0, 1, 2, or 3, n is 0, 1, or 2, p is 1 to 5, q is 0, 1, 2 or 3, r is 0, 1, 2, or 3. These compounds are cardiovascular agents which exhibit thromboxane antagonist activity and thus are useful in the treatment of thrombotic disease.
