  Die neuen 2-(a-Phenoxy-alkyl)-imidazoline der Formel worin R, und R2 unabhängig voneinander Methyl oder Chlor, oder zusammen eine -(CH2)3-oder -(CH2)4-Gruppe und R3 Äthyl, n-Propyl oder i-Propyl bedeuten, sowie ihre Säureadditionssalze eignen sich zur Bekämpfung von pflanzenschädlichen und tierparasitären Milben. Die Herstellung dieser Verbindungen kann auf mehrfache Art erfolgen; z.B. kann 2,3, Dimethylphenol mit 2-Bromvaleriansäure-methylester zu 2-(2,3-Dimethyl)-phenoxyvaleriansäuremethylester umgesetzt und dieser mit Äthylendiamin in 2-[a- (2,3-Dimethyl)-phenoxybutyl] -imidazolin übergeführt werden.

  新的 2-(a-苯氧基烷基)咪唑类化合物，其式如下 其中 R 和 R2 各自为甲基或氯，或共同为-(CH2)3 或-(CH2)4 基团，R3 为乙基、正丙基或异丙基。这些化合物可以通过多种方法制备，例如，2,3-二甲基苯酚可以与 2-溴戊酸甲酯反应生成 2-（2,3-二甲基）-苯氧基戊酸甲酯，再与乙二胺反应生成 2-[a-（2,3-二甲基）-苯氧基丁基]-咪唑啉。
