    An object of the present invention is to provide a paste-type cement composition which while retaining adhesion to tooth substance, biocompatibility, surface curability and fluorine sustained-releasability which are the characteristics derived from the conventional glass ionomer cement, reduces water sensitivity which is shortcoming of the conventional glass ionomer cement, enables simple mixing operation, does not adversely affect on the various properties of a cured cement depending on a difference in operators or a skill degree, and can afford various stable properties. There is provided a two paste-type glass ionomer cement comprising a resin-based paste containing a hydrophobic polymerizable monomer and a polymer of acidic group-containing polymerizable monomers which are insoluble to each other, and a water-based paste containing a hydrophilic polymerizable monomer and water which are soluble to each other, in which an acid reactive filler is contained in at least one of pastes.

    A kit for dental adhesive comprising a radical polymerizable monomer having an acid group in the molecule, a photosensitizer and/or a peroxide, a water-soluble organic solvent, an organic sulfinic acid and/or a salt thereof or a barbituric acid and/or a derivative thereof, and water. The kit may further comprises a radical polymerizable monomer which has no acid group and is insoluble or hardly soluble in water, an amine compound, a silane coupling agent and a 1,3,5-triazine-2,4-dithion derivative. By using this kit, the adhesive composition can be applied directly to a dentine without conducting a pretreatment.

    The present invention provides a method of producing an aqueous dispersion which comprises    dispersing a resin (b) or a solvent solution thereof, or a precursor (b0) of said resin (b) or a solvent solution thereof in an aqueous dispersion of resin particles (A) composed of resin (a) and    causing the precursor (b0) to react in the case where the precursor (b0) or a solvent solution thereof is used, to prepare resin particles (B) composed of said resin (b) in said aqueous dispersion of resin particles (A) and    thereby give an aqueous dispersion (X1) of resin particles (C) having a structure such that the resin particle (A) adheres to the surface of the resin particle (B). Further, an aqueous dispersion (X2) of resin particles (B) can be produced by a method    which comprises cleaving the resin particle (A) and resin particle (B) from each other and    removing resin particles (A), or    which comprises dissolving resin particles (A). The present invention can make it possible to obtain resin particles of uniform particle diameter.

    Disclosed are core-shell resin particles (C2) each comprising one or more film-like shell layers (P) comprising a first resin (a) and a core layer (Q) comprising a second resin (b). A core-shell resin particle (C2) is characterized in that the weight ratio between (P) and (Q) is from 0.1:99.9 to 70:30, the volatile content in the resin particle (C2) is not more than 2 weight %, and the resin (a) has an initial softening temperature of 40 to 270°C, a Tg of 20 to 250°C, a flow temperature of 60 to 300°C, and the difference of the Tg and the flow temperature in a range of 0 to 120°C. Said resin particles are excellent in electrostatic property, thermal storage stability and thermal properties, and exhibit a narrow particle diameter distribution.
