  A facile and efficient approach to N-(2-nitrophenyl) benzenesulfonamides was developed under microwave irradiation. A series of pyrabactin analogues containing nitrophenyl scaffold was obtained in excellent yields. In addition, the method was pretty suitable to prepare flusulfamide.
