  This disclosure features chemical entities (e.g., a compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and/or hydrate and/or prodrug of the compound) that modulate (e.g., agonize) the apelin receptor (also referred to herein as the APJ receptor; gene symbol APLNR).
