  从β-二羰基化合物，溴乙腈和胺开始，可以高效合成2-氨基吡咯。β-二羰基化合物与溴乙腈的烷基化可提供α-氰基甲基-β-二羰基化合物。α-氰基甲基-β-二羰基化合物与对-TsOH催化的胺的缩合反应可得到相应的烯胺，收率很高。通过将胺部分加到腈基提供的2-氨基吡咯的碳-氮三键上，碱可催化环化，产率很高。

  α-cyanomethyl-β-dicarbonyl compounds with amines catalyzed by p-TsOH affords the corresponding enamines in good yields. Base catalyzed cyclization via the addition of an amine moiety to the carbon–nitrogen triple bond of nitrile furnished 2-aminopyrroles in high yields.
