Abstract Three new esters of 2-(indol-3-yl)ethanol (tryptophol) containing the acyl residues of dehydrocrepenynic (octadeca-9 Z ,14 Z -dien-12-ynoic), oleic and linoleic acids have been identified in fruiting bodies of the Basidiomycete Craterellus cornucopioides supplied with exogenous tryptophol.
