An iterative stereoselective procedure for the synthesis of isomers of conjugated ψ-chlorotrienoic esters and ψ-chlorotetraenoic esters as well as related conjugated ψ-chloropolyenynoic esters is described, using readily available conjugated chlorodienol and chloroenynol derivatives as starting materials.
