Lignans and an aromatic acid from Cinnamomum philippinense
摘要:
Investigation of the root of Cinnamomum philippinense resulted in the isolation of a new lignan, cinnamophilin, together with three known compounds, meso-dihydroguaiaretic acid, (+)-guaiacin and vallinic acid. Their structures were elucidated by spectral analysis. Cinnamophilin and its derivatives showed significant antiplatelet aggregation activity and vasorelaxing effect. Furthermore, it displayed antioxidative activity equivalent to alpha-tocopherol.
