A novel acid‐promoted rearrangement is disclosed. In the previously unknown transformation, an allyl group migrated to an in situ formed carbocation stabilized by an electron‐rich aryl or heteroaryl group, resulting in a stereoselective intramolecular Grob fragmentation.
