Die Erfindung betrifft insbesondere 2-(3'-Hydroxy-pyrid-2'-yl)-2-thiazolin-4-carbonsäure-Derivate der Formel (I) und Salze sowie bestimmte Metallkomplexe dieser Verbindungen, Verfahren zu deren Herstellung, solche Verbindungen enthaltende pharmazeutische Mittel und die Verwendung dieser Verbindungen.
In der Formel stehen R' fürfreies, verethertes oderverestertes Hydroxy, R2 für Wasserstoff oder einen aliphatischen, carbocyclischen oder carbocyclisch-aliphatischen Rest mit 1-12 C-Atomen und R3 für Wasserstoff oder einen unsubstituierten aliphatischen Rest mit 1-7 C-Atomen.
Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) können z.B. zum Entzug von Schwermetallen aus dem Organismus, von Warmblütern verwendet werden und/oder besitzen antibiotische Wirkung.
