Bromoacetates of the compositions AI(OOCCH2Br)(3), AlBr(OOCCH2Br)(2), FeCl(OOCCH2Br)(2), FeCl2(OOCCH2Br) and Cu(OOCCH2Br)(2) and M(OOCCH2Br)(3).B, M(OOCCH2Br)(2).2B, MBr(OOCCH2Br)(2).B, MCl(OOCCH2Br)(2).2B, MCl2(OOCCH2Br).B. (M=Al(III), Fe(III), Cu(II) and B = C5H5N, (C2H5)(2)NH, (C2H5)(3)N and NH2C6H4F have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, infrared, reflectance, NMR spectral and magnetic susceptibility studies.
