  Owing to their unique properties, molecules containing the difluoromethyl group (CF2H) are of great interest. Tributyl(difluoromethyl)stannane has now been used for the selective and efficient direct ipso difluoromethylation of aryl iodides, heterocyclic iodides, and β‐styryl halides (see scheme).
