α-Alkylation of tertiary amines by C(sp3)–C(sp3) cross-coupling under redox neutral photocatalysis
摘要:
Direct cc-alkylation of N-phenyl-tetrahydroisoquinoline with alkyl selenides of desired alkyl chain length and functionality is reported by photoredox catalysis. Construction of hexahydro pyrrolo- and pyrido-isoquinoline scaffolds along with indolines and tetrahydroquinolines is also described by intramolecular C(sp(3))-C(sp(3)) cross-couplings. of nido‐carboranes (7,8‐nido‐C2B9H12−) has been developed under electrochemical reaction conditions. In this reaction system, anodic oxidation serves as a green alternative for traditional chemical oxidants in the oxidation of nido‐carboranes. No transition‐metal catalyst is required and different heteroatoms bearing a lone pair are reactive in this transformation. Coupling nido‐carboranes with thioethers
p-Silylation of Arenes via Organic Photoredox Catalysis: Use of p-Silylated Arenes for Exclusive o-Silylation, o-Acylation, and o-Alkylation Reactions
Photocatalytic regiospecific p-silylation of arenes has been achieved by the coupling of in situ generated silyl radical with areneradicalcation. The strategy involves reductive activation of PhSe–SiR3 and single electron transfer from the electron rich arene to 9,10-dimethoxyanthracene radicalcation (DMA•+). p-Silyl arenes, thus formed, are further utilized for exclusive o-silylation reaction and
photoinduced decarboxylative C-Se bond-forming reaction employing alkyl N-hydroxyphthalimide esters as alkylation reagents and acid red 94 as an inexpensive photocatalyst has been documented. A broad range of alkyl N-hydroxyphthalimide esters were tolerated for this decarboxylation process, providing a series of unsymmetrical monoselenides with good to excellent yields. The mild conditions and the excellent
