Ethyl phenylsulfonylacetate(1), phenylsulfonylacetonitrile(2) and phenylsulfonylacetophenone (3) were condensated with aldehydes (a-d) into unsaturated sulfone without solvent in the presence of KF on alumina under microwave irradiation.
